From time of shipment, animals are in the care of AMC Pet Logistics or the carrying airline. Although every possible care and attention will be given to animals during transit, it is regretted that no responsibility can be accepted by AMC Pet Logistics or by the carrying airline for escape, death or injury due to natural causes, by reasons of climate conditions, war, acts of foreign enemies or Government or riots, radioactive contamination and injury to a third party by the animal. Should you decide to supply your own travel container, it must be sufficiently large enough to allow your pet to stand up, turn around and lie down in comfort. If the travel container is found not to conform to the current IATA regulations at the point of departure, your animals will not be allowed to travel on their booked flight, unless a new IATA approved container can be supplied in time. The client will supply AMC Pet Logistics with the pet's regular food and a diet plan for transports taking longer than 12 hours. AMC Pet Logistics will adhere to the pet's diet plan and provide them with fresh water, no later than every 4 hours, during all road transports. Although AMC Pet Logistics will always try to adhere to agreed delivery times, the client acknowledges that delays caused by accidents, road closures or vehicle breakdowns can occur. AMC Pet Logistics will communicate any such delays to the client as soon as they become aware of them.

All shipping charges are to be paid in full no later than 10 days prior to the date of departure for air transport. All shipping charges must be paid in full upon delivery for all road transport. AMC Pet Logistics will not send you any surprise invoices for charges which haven't been discussed and agreed in advance. Any deposit payments for Air and Road Transport are non-refundable unless AMC Pet Logistics cannot complete the transport due to their fault. Any deposit payments for Road Transport will be fully refunded if the client wishes to cancel with more than 72 hours' notice. The refund processing time will be no more than 10 working days and all refunds will be made via bank transfer to an account in the client's own name. If any extra costs are incurred due to veterinary documentation, rescheduling, cancellation, changes or delay to flights, these are the responsibility of the client. AMC Pet Logistics reserves the right to withhold handover of the pet upon delivery until the final payment has been received. In case of AMC Pet Logistics having to hold the pet, the client will be responsible for boarding and care charges of £75.00 per day.

AMC Pet Logistics is Licensed by APHA (Animal & Plant Health Agency) — Licence number UK/REIGA/T2/00114387. AMC Pet Logistics vehicles are inspected by NSA UK Limited who have certified that the vehicles comply with animal welfare standards set by DEFRA as defined in the Welfare of Animals during Transport Regulation (EC) 1/2005. AMC Pet Logistics is insured for Public Liability and will cover all costs in case of Third Party damages caused due to negligence by our members of staff whilst the animal is under our care. AMC Pet Logistics is insured and will pay for any treatment of your pet resulting from a road traffic collision. AMC Pet Logistics will not be liable for the death or loss of your pet resulting from pre-existing medical conditions.

If you wish AMC Pet Logistics to arrange and collect AHCs for your pets, the costs are as follows: • AHC for one pet: £185.00 • AHC for two pets: £225.00 • £40 for each additional pet (maximum 5 pets) AMC Pet Logistics do not issue AHCs — we work with Official Vets who issue these. It is the client's responsibility to complete the Rabies vaccination and Tapeworm treatment of their pets in a timely manner. Any costs associated with Animal Health Certificates must be paid in advance and in full.

At no time will AMC Pet Logistics publish, share, trade, vend or otherwise distribute any information or data to any other party, except where required by applicable law, court orders, or entitled authorities.
